Our xPlorer Adventures

John has had an interest in photography and been a keen amateur photographer and for well over fifty years. Over the past few years I have both entered and won numerous photographic competitions and awards. These days I shoot with Fuji X Series cameras. I particularly enjoy landscape, nature and closeup photography, but equally like to mix it up a bit & try other genres such as monochrome also. Whilst I may have a general focus on photography in many ways, this site is more dedicated to our travels in our Hardkorr Xplorer camper trailer. In our opinion this trailer is a game changer as it has a rooftop tent to keep things compact, but gets away from the issue of having to climb a ladder as Hardkorr have integrated stairs into the design. And the setup when arriving at camp is very quick. It is also still possible to get this smaller & lighter camper into locations where you would be hesitant (or unable) to take a full size caravan.

We purchased this unit with a view to eventually travelling around this great country that we are blessed to live in. For now we are content with travelling closer to home in our state of Queensland. This site will be a location to share some of our photographs from our adventures.
