Peach Trees Camping Area is a popular camping spot located in the Jimna State Forest, which is situated in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland region of Queensland, Australia. The camping area is located at the end of Peach Trees Road, approximately 21km north-west of the town of Kilcoy. The Peach Trees Camping Area is a well-maintained and scenic campground that offers visitors a peaceful and relaxing environment surrounded by natural beauty. The camping area is situated in a scenic location in the midst of tall eucalypt forest and offers visitors the chance to enjoy a range of outdoor activities such as hiking, birdwatching, and swimming in nearby creeks.
There is an abundance of wildlife including reptiles, birds & mammals. Kangaroos are commonly seen in the area and can often be spotted grazing near the camping area. We saw many with joeys. There is also plenty of birdlife around with over 120 species of birds in the region, including king parrots, rosellas, and kookaburras. Birdwatchers will have plenty of opportunities to spot these colorful creatures. And we also saw a number of large goannas around the camping area.

Mibanbah Black Rocks - 19th to 21st April 2024
This trip was supposed to be the start of our Waterfall Way, Girraween adventure. Instead, on only the 2nd night, John had a fall and with a very sore wrist we decided to head back early. A hospital visit confirmed that there was a Scaphoid fracture so now we will not be travelling until his arm is out of the plaster.

Teewah Beach - 21st to 25th Sept 2023
This was our first true off grid beach trip away & also the first since Johns Myeloma diagnosis & treatment began. So it was particular of value to us & once again the Hardkorr Xplorer did not disappoint. We were very impressed with how well it towed on the sand also.
